Rare mutation rates that have occured in your Mitochondrial DNA over the last 150,000 years are analyzed and traced back in time to determine your maternal lineage. Our laboratory sequences the two hypervariable control regions (HV-1 and HV-2) in an effort to provide the most complete description of your maternal ancestor’s ancient migrations.
